She is especially passionate about Gerontology, promoting the mental well-being of older adults, and is currently working toward launching a Seniors Centre to serve this growing population.
Fluent in English, Swahili, and Kikuyu, she brings cultural fluency and empathy to her work with adolescents, couples, families, and individuals. Whether working in therapy rooms, classrooms, or community spaces, Dr. Dorothy remains dedicated to improving mental health outcomes and nurturing resilience across the lifespan.

We conduct psychometric tests and/or clinical interviews to determine clients' mental health status and identify any other potential issues for accurate diagnosis and best treatment options.

We provide counseling psychotherapy for challenges arising from modern day stressors such as burnout, grief and loss, harassment, relationship issues and gerontology concerns, to more complex cases of anxiety, depression, trauma, geriatrics, personality, sleep, adjustment and eating disorders among others, taking into account cultural diversity and ethics.

In order to keep up to date with a constantly evolving profession, we endeavor to participate in research studies on analysis of individual and group experiences and behaviors so as to add to the clinical application of therapy that eventually benefits society.

As part of our social responsibility, we take an active and positive role of giving back to the community through sharing of current topical mental health issues.
